Located in the heart of the historic centre of Lyon, the Museum of Fine Arts or Musée des Beaux-Arts occupies the buildings of the former Dames de Saint-Pierre Abbey, built in the 17th century.
The Museum of Fine Arts in Lyon has been open to the public since 1803: five sections are distributed throughout 70 rooms. Discover the Antiques section, the Objets d'art, decorative objects, 19th and 20th century sculptures and the collection of paintings with works dating from the 14th century up to the 1980s.
